Welcome to my official "Ghana blog!" I'm going to Ghana, Africa through Brigham Young University's Nursing Program for 21 days. I leave on May 1st. (Yeah, that's in less than a week!! AAAH!)
There are a couple reasons I've made this blog:
1) To keep a journal-type record (that has pictures) so I can document this incredible experience.
2) So family and friends at home who have expressed interest can share in the adventure with me!
3) So those who have donated to the humanitarian project we're doing in Ghana can see how their donation has blessed the lives of the people of Abomosu, Ghana. I'm hoping to include before and after pictures. :)
So yeah! I'll try to post everyday while I'm gone but that might not happen due to internet access. We'll see how it goes.
And I am SO excited to go! Holy cow. Can't wait to share with all of you!
P.S. - I love this song! Not only is it a great Zumba song (hehe) but it's catchy and about Africa. This was the theme song for the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa. And it's about soccer too, which makes it even cooler.
